- WATERMEAD STORY The hymn words we chose to use on our first Wedding card "We have a Dream" design were originally used on a card given to a couple celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. The words offer an ideal that true partnership would love to bring to world we live in. WEDDING Marriage, for a Catholic/Christian, is part of their Sacramental journey, the total giving of oneself to another through the bond (covenant) of matrimony, promising to faithfully love and honour each other for the rest of life and share understanding of faith with any children born of their union. SACRAMENTS The Christian journey is marked by special moments of God’s blessing called Sacraments. There are seven: Baptism (Christening), Confirmation (or Chrismation), the Eucharist (Holy Communion), Penance (Confession), the Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders and Matrimony - linking the stages of human life with the stages of the spiritual life.
